Beauty routine before 10PM!

Posted by Andrea Robin at 5:59 PM 0 comments
Hello, Readers! I've just read an interesting article about beauty routine before 10PM so would like to share it to everyone here who might not know about it yet.

Discovered by Japanese beauty researchers, the time of beauty routine should be done between 8pm~10pm everyday. It's where our skin will be at the weakest point and it's our job to take care of our skin to maintain it's youthfulness ^^ When our skin at the weakest point, it is recommended to do our facial routine (cleanse, toner, moisturiser, masks etc...) between these hours to avoid further damage to our skin (i.e. dry skin will result getting fine lines/wrinkles). So ladies, remember to remove your make-up, clean your face and slap on toner, moisturiser right after you back home.

After 11pm~1pm it's highly recommended for you to go to bed as this hours is the 'Golder hours'. This is the time where your body will works diligently to repair/renew skin cells~ so make sure you sleep before 11pm everyday to receive the magical treatment by your own body! tee-heee... starting from now on I want to get a beauty sleep as many as I can and no more overnight facebook game grrr...

I know sometimes it's too hard for us to get beauty sleep everyday due to work or some other stuff going on but at least you must must remember to remove your make-up + moisturise your skin before going to bed. And don't ever sleep with your make-up on because it will only lead to clogged pores and end up acne/pimple to pop out of your face T_T

My 2 recommended easy to remove make-up remover will be

oohhlala~ I love Hada Labo products so so much! This make-up remover is gel water based and easily removed any dirt or make-up on your skin plus with  the hyaluronic acid ingredient added it make the skin moisture and won't strip away the skin natural oil.
Pros: Remove almost most of the dirt/bb-cream/make-up on my skin. No fragrance.
Cons: Although it said mild enough to be used for eye remover, the chemical is too painful for my eyes and it hardly works on water proof mascara/thick make-up due to water based formula.
4 out of 5 star!

I only ever tried on the wipes remover. As you can see this 1 is an oil-based remover. This remover also leave my skin smooth and moisturised and it's convenient/easy to use. If you're using wipes make-up remover remember to cleanse with your daily cleanser later as using wipes cannot completely remove all the dirt/make-up. Just to be cautious as you don't want to end up sleeping with make-up later.
Pros: Easy to clean, can clean away almost all the make-up have better cleaning power than Hada Labo. And the wipes also very convenient to bring when go travelling.
Cons: If using the wipes, 1 pc will not be enough for entire face especially when have eyes make-up so very not economical. I don't really like the smell of it.
4.5 out of 5 star!

That's all for my beauty sharing for now ^.^ hopes it can helps you to be beautiful~ and even more beautiful... hehe I'm so excited about tomorrow! Ohya, I haven't mentioned about my good news here yet and that is... if you have read my Hada Labo reviews few months ago, I did mentioned advertorial about Hada Labo Perfect Match contest right? and guess what?! I am one of the 14 HL Perfect Match Winner! Oh my... I'm so thrilled until now since last few weeks knowing it ^^ well, tomorrow I'll be having my 1st ever magazine photo shoot!!! Hoorayyy~ my sort of dream have come true... okay for now~ I'm going to do my dance of joy again lalalala.... stay tuned for more beauty tips from blossiebunny blog =) thank you for viewing

BB creams Review

Posted by Andrea Robin at 11:05 PM 7 comments
I was being lazy again @_@ well here's my review on the bb creams that I purchased last month. Recap on the bb creams I purchased was Banila Co. Naked bb, Glow bb & Glam bb, Tony Moly Crystal bb. I also add Dr Jart for this review.

Let's start off with Banila Co. bb creams 1st, I must say I'm glad that I only purchased the sample size for these 3 bb cream as I'm not a fans if them, they are too dry & the texture is quite pigmented compare to other brand of bb cream out there. My skin will looks flaky after application =(

Let me Bebe Naked BB cream

Coverage: ★★★★☆
Texture: ★★☆☆☆
Oil Control: ★★★☆

Smell: ★★★★☆

Overview: This bb cream is just ok for me nothing to rave about as it did not blend well on my skin. The color also too fair for me despite it's called naked bb cream which is suppose to blend in naturally into skin however the coverage is quite impressive as it covers up my dark eyes circle very well. The oil control is quite decent, I only need to blot once in the afternoon. I love the smell of this bb cream.

Let me touched glow bb cream in yellow beige

Coverage: ★★★
Texture: ★★
Oil Control: ★★☆☆☆

Smell: ★★★★☆

Overview: What I like about this bb cream is that I give my skin a more glowing effect however the color is too dark/tan for my skin color. The texture of this cream is more liquid then the rest of banila bb cream and i blend easily on my skin but still will make my face looks slightly flaky. The oil control is not as great as the other 2. The smell is pleasant, all banila bb cream smell the same lol.

Let me dressed Glam BB cream in classic beige matte

Coverage: ★★★

Texture: ★★★☆
Oil Control: ★★★★☆
Smell: ★★★★☆

Overview: This bb cream works almost the same as the naked bb except for the color being slightly beige which suite on my skin color. Decent coverage and this have the most oil control then the rest because it's for oily skin type.

Now lets move the the last 2 bb creams for this reviews. There are the Tony Moly Crystal & Dr. Jart Dark Label . These 2 bb are my most favorite bb creams at the moment. I've been using Dr. Jart Black Label for more than a year now an I must say it's very good!

Tony Moly Crystal BB cream

Coverage: ★★★

Texture: ★★★★★
Oil Control: ★★★☆☆

Smell: ★★★☆☆

Overview: I'm so in love to this bb cream after the 1st application! The reasons are this bb is sooo easy to apply with its watery texture and it feels very light too. The color is totally blend on my skin and it gives a dewy looking skin after that. This bb also give me a moisturising coverage all day long. However the downside of this bb is that it does not have spf in it but never mind I can apply my sunblock as base. The coverage is a bit thin compare to other bb so it does cover well on my dark eyes circle and pores. As for oil control, I still need to blot my T-zone area after few hours with it. No nice smell nor funny smell on this bb. In conclusion great bb cream for those who want a very light natural look and dry skin.

Dr. Jart Black Label

Coverage: ★★★★☆

Texture: ★★★★★
Oil Control: ★★★☆☆

Smell: ★★★★☆

Overview: On my 2nd tube of this bb cream. Facts that I love about this bb is that it provides my skin moisturise, uv protection and good coverage in overall. It makes my skin looks smoother and glowing at the same time after application. It also cover really well for my pores and dark circle. As this bb have healing properties in it, it did whiten my pimple marks overtime and my fine lines also become less visible. The oil control is average though, I still need to blot it sometimes especially when the weather is hot & humid. Sometimes the cream will melt away if it's too hot=sweating nevertheless it still my No.1 fav bb cream of all xD

-Hand test-

Acne vs. Your face

Posted by Andrea Robin at 3:47 PM 0 comments
Do you know that there's meaning behind those acne pop-out from your face? I do not know about it either until now. So, have you heard about Face Mapping? Actually face mapping method have been used by Chinese ancient long longgg time ago to check on their patient's health. Our face actually connected to different parts of our body's organs. So in the past where there's no medical advancement, these people can check your health just by looking at your face, skin, etc.
However, other factors such as your lifestyles, habits and so on can cause acne to pop-out too.
So let's see the story behind your acne/pimple...

Forehead (3 & 1): Divided into Left & Right side which is related to your digestive system. If you frequently have break out here it means that your digestion is poor therefore you need to drink a lot of water, eat more fruits and vegetables in order for your digestive to run smoothly. Other factors such as wearing dirty hats/caps, dirty hair can also leads to skin break out.

Between Eyebrows (2): This related to your liver. Over consumptions of rich foods like cheese, alcohol or eating late night habits will cause your skin to break out. So try to keep away from eating late night and reduce consumption on rich foods.

Cheek (5 & 9): These refer to your Upper lungs which means you may have respiratory problem. Smokers or allergy people might experience fine broken capillaries on these area. If you're suffering from acne just one side of your cheek then it's probably from your cell phone or dirty pillowcase so do clean your cell phone regularly and change your pillow case at least twice a week, you'll see the difference in a month!

Ears (4 & 10): These strongly related to your Kidney. If you always have big pimples at the back of your ears it means that your body is dehydrated. So do drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday and avoid caffeine, salt as these ingredients will drain out the liquid in your body rapidly.

Side Chin (11 & 13): Greatly related to Hormone here. Get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday because if you have enough sleep your body stress level will be lower as a result your hormone will be balance.

Center of Chin (12): This part relate to your small intestine therefore having poor diet, food allergies can cause break out. Other factor such as toothpaste, oily food traces on your chin while eating can cause clogged pores.

Neck (14) : The skin on your neck is as delicate as your face, therefore do not neglect caring for this part too. Always remember to put on sun-screen before exposing to the sun to avoid aging.

Chest: If you have acne on your chest. It's because of your stress level is high. Other factor like wearing dirty clothes. Get enough sleep and don't wear dirty clothes.

Here's 2 Important things that'll affect your overall body appearance.

1. Water
This is very essential to everyone, it's the same like you need air to breath while your body need water to work. Water help to cleans your body by flushing out all the toxic inside body. If you body is lack of water then every organs in your body will slow down their performance and as a result you'll easily feeling fatigue, dull complexion, prone to break out, easily get fat... however, do not drink too much water 4 hours before going to sleep as it will make your face bloated in the morning.

2. Get Enough Sleep
Yes this is very very very important as well. When you sleep, your body will start to work very hard to repair your skin and everything so if you don't have enough sleep then your body probably can't have the quality time to repair your skin and guess what? You'll end up having deep dark eyes circles and pimples all over you face. Scary eh @_@ Sleeping can also lower your stress level so your hormone will not jump all over the place LoLs~

These 2 things are the best free treatment for your skin. To be honest, I never bother these things before as I'm so busy finding the right products to cure my oily, acne/pimple prone skin before and as a result of using too much chemicals, harsh products on my face I get dry and sensitive skin >.< so sad~ Then in the past 1.5 years I tried to change my daily habits by drinking lots of water, get enough sleep and the miracle happens! It really surprised me by how my overall body become more healthier and my face is getting better now.

I know now that a healthy lifestyle can really change a person from inside out. I also learn that you cannot just rely on beauty products to have clear skin because most important is you need to take a good care of your own body then only find a products that will work well with your own skin.

Remember WATER and SLEEP are the best thing you could give to your body ^^

Hada Labo Skincare

Posted by Andrea Robin at 4:54 PM 0 comments

Yayy~!!! I think it's time for me to review these amazing skincare products from Japan. I've been using it for almost 2 months now and ready to share my Hada Labo experience. I bought the trial pack as a starter since 2 months ago, that time my skin condition was very very dry where I can feel rough surface after few seconds finish washing my face and to add it worse I'm prone to sensitive skin, always have the redness patches after each wash. It was very uncomfortable and I couldn't even wear my BB cream at ease.

I bough my trial pack of Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid at Watson priced RM38.90. The pack contains Make-up remover (30ml), Face wash (20gm), Moisturising lotion (20ml) and Moisturising milk (20ml), these miniature can last up to 3 weeks for me.

Ok, lets start off with the Make-up remover (pic: the first item from right) first. Fyi, this is their new products on the list. This remover is a gel type.
Drop around 50-cents size onto your palm and slowly distribute it to the face. Massage few seconds until your makeup starting to melt then rinse with water. This is my second favorite make-up remover after Biore cleansing wipes. It really cleans off all the make-up I wore on my face very quickly and the best part is it won't dry out your skin at all. I usually use this to remove my make-up and finish up with my NOPS Waterholics spray after that and will only wash my face with cleanser before I go to bed.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Gently & effectively removes all traces of make-up & dirt: 3
Water based formula leaves skin clean without greasy or tight feeling: 3
Hydrates, leaving skin silky smooth: 3
Star Rating: ★★★★☆.5

Next, move on to Moisturising Face Wash (pic: first item from left)
The texture is white creamy. Squeeze a pea size onto your palm, lather with your wet palm until it have tiny bubbles then massage onto your face. It smell very light coconut or olive oil smell but no worries as it won't smell anything unpleasant after wash. I love this cleanser so so much! It's not like any other moisturising cleanser out there where after few second of washing, your face will start to cracking up and feel tight. This cleanser cleans my face throughly while giving it soft and smooth touchable face later, even after few minutes where you haven't put on any moisturiser on your face.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Hydrates as it cleanses: 3
Restore and preserve skin's natural moisture: 3
Refreshes skin after usage: 2
Star Rating: ★★★★

Now to Moisturising Lotion. This is Hada Labo best selling items. It claims that every 4 seconds sold 1 bottle in Japan. Can you believe it? It'll be like 15 bottles a minute? Well, not sure true or not but let me review it here.
Before I start using this lotion, I was using JuJu AquaMoist Hydrating Lotion. In my opinion Hada Labo Lotion is much more hydrating and it absorbs well into my skin compare to Aquamoist Lotion. Hada Labo lotion serves as toner + moisturising at the same time. Although I don't see it can reduce my open pores, it gives my face more supple and hydrating all day long.
I'll drop 4-5 droplets onto my palm, slowly pat onto face using fingertips. This lotion absorbs instantly. You must use the proper amount to get non-greasy nor sticky feeling after application.
I just bought the full size bottle recently and I think it'll last very long as I only need 8-9 drops everyday xD worth the money! So I don't know how Japanese girls use it until 1 bottle sold for 4 seconds LOL to exaggerating lar... however, I noticed that the full size products all made in China but not Japan while the miniature size made in Japan neh... I hope our Watson don't sell imitate goods but so far the effect is similar as miniature only the smell of the cleanser for full size is much more lighter compare to the miniature size.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Deeply moisturise skin: 3
Helps preserve skin's optimum moisture balance: 3
Helps improve dry and dehydrated skin, leaving silky smooth: 3
Star Rating: ★★★★

Lastly the Moisturising Milk (pic: 2nd item on the left). As it's call milk, the texture is thick milky lotion type. This is to use after the Moisturising lotion. Just squeeze pea size amount onto palm and gently massage onto face until fully absorbs. At first I was hesitate to use this milk type as the texture is rather thick, I'm afraid it might clogged my pores. However with correct amount of this milk, my face absorbs it fully while leaving my face more hydrated without greasiness. Furthermore after each application, this milk makes my skin glowing! It won't clogged my pores either but I do not recommend oily-skin type babe to use this as it contains very rich moisturiser ingredients which might make your skin more oily than usual. Best for dry-skin type babe only.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Moisturises deeply, offering nourishing hydration: 3
Leaves skin a natural, healthy looking glow: 3
Skin becomes more smoother, softer and richly hydrated: 3
Star Rating: ★★★★☆.5

So that's my reviews on Hada Labo Skincare, overall this mid-range price products works wonder on my Dry & Sensitive skin making my face more hydrating day by day.

Btw there's Hada Labo Malaysia is looking for their Perfect Match Women so if you want to join it you can submit your entry to Hada Labo Perfect Match Contest . Korean Skincare Review

Posted by Andrea Robin at 7:09 PM 0 comments
I love Korean skincare because usually they only use natural plants for its main ingredients and less harmful chemicals in them. Also I find that Korean people have very good complexion compare to other Asian, don't you think so? Just see most of Korean celebrities like Song Hye Kyo (my fav), Lee Min Ho, Bae Yoog Joon, Jang Nara you name it... their skin is so smooth and flawless! So in this post it'll be my reviews on Korean Skincare/cosmetics that I've purchased.

My Skin Type: Dry/Combination Skin. Dry on both cheeks, Forehead/Oily on Chin area and nose bridge.
Acne: Occasionally.

Laneige Sleeping Pack
I got 2 sachets of sample pack and tried it. Love the mild relaxing scent of this mask. The texture is thick but when I apply it onto my face it gives a cool feeling then I massage it slowly until it absorb into my skin. Although its texture is thick, after the gel fully absorb into the skin there's no sticky feeling and I can sleep with it without worrying the gel will stain my pillow because I like to sleep sideway. Thumbs up for that ^o^ Then in the morning my face feel fully moisturize and velvet soft. My skin feel moisturize all day long.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Hydrates fatigue and dry skin: 3
Snow water for crystal clear and vitalized skin: 2
Aromatic Sleepscent helps good sleep: 2
Star Rating: ★★★★☆

Laneige Sun Block Triple SPF40
I bought this sunblock because it have multiple functions. The color of this sunblock is pearly white which will give the face glowing looks after application I think that's what it means by color correcting effect and it's great as a primer with UV protection because of the pearly effect it makes my face looks more brighter and healthier plus SPF40 is ample for daytime to avoid harsh UV rays. After applying it to my face I won't feel any greasiness but only the lightly scented smell. Also it won't dry out my skin even in air-con room the whole day. So far best sunblock face for me! Never skip sunblock ya as the harmful UV rays will age your skin 3x faster so please invest on good sunblock. It's better to prevent than to cure later ☺

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
UV block: 3
Skin Protection: 3
Color-correcting for radiant and vivified skin: 3
Star Rating: ★★★★

Zamian Premium Black Cacao Pack

I see this products have lots of review from all over nets and decided to try it myself. This is a wash off mask with active ingredients such as chocolate and 99.9% gold powder. The smell of this mask is very tempting, very choco smell which makes me wanna lick the mask off my face haha but believe me it doesn't taste anything like the chocolate we're eating. This wash off mask is definitely one of my favourite because it makes my skin brighter, smoother and softer after each application. There's a lot of acne prone reviewer claims that this mask help to control and heal their acne/pimples rapidly so I experiment it by applying on my newly grow pimple and I think it did make my pimple stop from growing bigger and by applying this cacao on my spot for few nights finally my pimple's gone without pressing it so no pimple scar worry here.

This mask did not dry out my skin at all because it have aloe vera extract to help stabilizing our skin moisture from within like there's one time when my skin was really dry & sensitive, I applied this mask every alternate day and dap on my usual moisturizer before going to sleep and surprisingly the next day my face was much more moist and redness reduced without having to worry there's foundation patches or redness on my face for the day so this is a great mask for calming your skin sensitivity too. Now my skin back to normal I use this mask once/twice a week. This 1 tube can last for more than 3 months so it quite worth. A must buy mask! The only downside is that it's very messy and hard to clean off the mask afterwards because after you apply it onto your face the mask will harden on your face therefore it need sometime to get it off with warm water.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Bright and Smoother skin: 3
Cure Pimples and scar : 3
Tighten pores: 3
Eliminates fine lines and Wrinkles: 2
Star Rating: ★★★★

NOPS Aqua Punch Hydro Gel Cream

Natural Organic Plants (NOPS) is another newly open Korea skincare outlet in Malaysia like Skin Food, Etude House. However this brand is already established in Korea for quite sometime selling mainly in Korea Watson drugstore. I came across NOPS store at Sunway Pyramid new wings last year while shopping for Christmas gift. I wanted to find a good moisturizer for my dry skin so went in the store and I was attended by one of the friendly store consultant there introducing me this gel cream. She tested it on my hand and I love the cooling and watery feeling of this gel cream so without thinking long I bought it along with their 'Water Holic mist spray' and that time there's promotion, purchase above RM120 you'll get 1 scalp shampoo for free! So I purchase few more small items to try to sum up for the free gifts lols. That night itself, I applied it right away after night cleansing and my face fall in love with this product immediately. The feeling is so refreshing and most importantly it's not oily at all! The gel cream is a water based moisturizer so it absorb very fast into my skin. After application my face looks more energize and moisturize. Good investment for dry skin moisturizer so far.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Instant Hydrating: 3
Ingredient to whiten skin: 2
Brings cooling and freshness to tired skin: 3
Star Rating: ★★★★

Dr.Jart+ Water Sure Gel
Dr.Jart+ is a very well known Dermatological Cosmetics in Korea and other Asia countries especially with its famous BB cream. However this moisturizer is just OK for me not as hydrating as NOPS' Aqua Punch. I bought this before having NOPS anyway so quite regret as it did not work well on my skin. The texture of this gel is thick and a bit greasy feeling after application although it's water based gel. After few hours my face will back to dry mode again. I love the refreshing scented smell of this gel though.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree)
Water based gel without stickiness: 1
Long lasting effect: 1
Lifting effect: 2
Star Rating: ★★

Dr.Jart+ Pore Medic Recover Pre-Base
I used this as my base before applying BB cream when I'm having a really dry skin. Texture of this gel is slightly thick and feeling a little bit greasy. However this base smoothen my dry skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. With this makes me more easier to apply my BB cream. After finish applying BB cream on my face, there'll be no powdery patches can be seen although my skin is very dry. This base also cover my visible pores.

This product claims: my opinion (1=Not Agree; 2=Partly Agree; 3=Agree):
Makes the best skin condition before makeup: 3
Covers fine lines: 3
Covers pores: 2
Sebum controlling effect: 2
Star Rating: ★★★★

Here goes my Korea Skincare review for now ^o^ Stay tuned for more soon guys!
Good Day!
